Reiki
Originating in Japan in the early 1900s, the sacred practice of Reiki has become
widely popular for its natural energy healing properties guided by
the gentle and noninvasive placement of touch.
The meaning of the word Reiki is Universal Life Energy, the healing force by which free-flowing energy is replaced in the body to promote emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. An energy imbalance in the body can ultimately cause illness and/or disease.
Reiki can bring healing to a broad spectrum of challenges. For example, it is known for alleviating symptoms from stress, depression, anxiety and PTSD as well as from physical maladies such as high blood pressure, chest pain, Parkinson's disease, infertility, and cancer, to name a few.
Reiki can also foster self-healing during recovery from treatments
such as chemotherapy, radiation,
and surgery and can stimulate the immune system, tissue growth and bone strength.
With regular sessions, the healing power of Reiki will renew your balance, foster mental clarity and promote peace, harmony and wellness to all areas of your life.
Reiki therapy should never be used
to cure illness or disease nor be substituted for diagnosis and/or treatment by a medical professional.

Maintaining mental and physical health and wellbeing has become the main-
stay in my life due to a 2017 diagnosis
of follicular Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, an incurable cancer of the lymphatic
system. The essential key to living with this disease is maintaining healthy habits in promoting daily peace, calm and harmony. Without these must-haves can be the difference between
life and death, a realization I became all too familiar with when my illness sud-denly morphed into an aggressive and deadly form of cancer. This became a pivotal moment in my proactive use of alternative healing which, in addition to medical treatment, gave me the best chance of survival and it minimized the side effects of chemotherapy. It also
brought transformative changes to my life in ways I had not fully appreciated at the time of my treatment. One such healing practice, Reiki, has been instrumental in fostering my body's strength and ability to self-heal, a wellness tool which -in and of itself- is life-altering with or without illness or disease. The rewards have been invaluable reaching far beyond my treatment
and recovery; every facet of my life has been touched in unimaginable ways. Perhaps this was the greater plan all along - to instead embrace the harsh experience of cancer with gratitude for all of my blessings and to provide awareness to others about the miracles of alternative healing. Whether you are in need of peace and calm, dietary changes, nutritional savvy, spirituality, physical or emotional healing, or if you are battling illness or disease, I hope to have the opportunity of providing you with support and guidance in achieving your wellness success and enlighten-ment about the powerful impact that Reiki and other alternative means will have on your health and life-long wellbeing.
My Story
My heart is filled with deep gratitude to be alive since surviving an aggressive cancer several years ago. That frightening ordeal rocked my world but also would eventually change the trajectory of my life in unimaginable ways because of alternative healing miracles. This was such a life-altering experience that I can honestly say if offered the opportunity to re-live that period without cancer, I would have to pass. I know that sounds crazy, but it's true! My encounter with illness and recovery was a pivotal moment in realizing what I needed to do to sustain my health and what needed to change to prevent illness from returning. It brought a new awareness about my wellbeing as a whole, how I live my life and all that was in grave need of being tossed - a sort of "spring cleaning" for the mind. In my world today, I am blessed each morning with high vibrational energy and immense clarity about why I am alive and what my greater purpose in life is moving forward: to shine light on the path of others in attaining peace, tranquility, balance, and harmony for life-long health and wellness success. This is my soul’s essence and it brings me much joy ~
